Very interesting pleading.

Her problem remains damages.  All impossible to quantify.

As a political document it is perfect.  We’ll see if the Federal Judge has the guts to let this get to jury.  My gut tells me No Way in Hell.  My hearts wants to see Hillary on the witness stand‼️

She might get an injunction though which does not require proof of damages.  Don't know what good that does.

It is an interesting question about just how far you can go in a political campaign.  False accusations abound.  Politicians call each other traitors all the time.
Ye shall know the phony left by the gates they keep.

The Plaintiff's lawyers do ask for injunctive relief.  I practiced very little in the Federal Courts and I don't know what the procedure is for addressing an equitable claim when a jury trial is demanded.  What I am hoping for is Hillary having to testify.  I'd prefer it before a jury, but beggars can't be choosers.

That's what I meant saying that this a political document.  It has enough real meat on the bone to avoid dismissal as frivolous -- but calling the Plaintiff "Tulsi" is really cute.   And the narrative of the complaint is full of quotable gems.

Gabbard will be a factor for a long time to come, unless she winds up like Paul Wellstone.

I don't see this going anywhere.
Public figure and all...

The public figure defense requires a Plaintiff to prove actual malice — and the  Complaint specifically alleges actual malice.  It also makes allegations that distinguish this from the Larry Flynt defense of obvious satire or obvious hyperbole.

It is a very clever legal document — piggybacking its very powerful and subversive message on a technically valid tort claim.  It obliges Hillary’s lawyers to litigate over the details of Russiagate.  And it allows Tulsi’s lawyers a good platform for debunking it.

Hillary ain’t in power now and it is possible that the Federal Judge might just fuck her up and let this thing proceed to trial.  I have to agree that this Hope is akin to expecting justice in the Epstein Case.

But that one could bring down a whole bunch of Big Dawgs.  This puts Ms. Rodham in the spotlight, alone.  She might well have run completely out of Juice by now.

We’ll see.

A possible side effect .....

The timing of this may just put Hillary in the hot seat when she would be considering jumping into the Dem primaries

Doubt it.
Her buddy Lynn Forrester Rothchild will just cough up the $54 mil to make it go away.
