Sorry it's taken so long to respond FWF, but for the last month I've had such a full plate. As w your OP, real life was getting in the way of my fake news.
This substitution of True Crime Drama for politics should not fool anybody. But Trump is so good at his assigned role of being the most repulsive personality ever, that most of the left -- even those who realize the Democratic Party is a sham -- cannot get past their disgust to see that there is very little policy disagreement between him and his supposed enemies. I disagree with those here at the Community who would like to see the Trump government go after Hillary. In the most abstract sense, I suppose I would have no objection to a legitimate prosecution of Her and Slick for all the bullshit they have ever pulled. But that is not going to happen with our present government -- by that I mean our permanent government, not the "political" department heads that come and go when the Red and Blue teams switch their In and Out positions. I know you do and I appreciate your opinions as admittedly I can't claim that this isn't but a huge distraction, or Kabuki Theater fed to the masses to keep us focused away from the important and pressing issues of our times, or that both parties aren't two sides of the exact same warfaring coin, or that anything ever is going to come of it. As I've read before, "does anyone really think the DS, is going to let Trump release the FISA docs?" Where I differ from you is, as I've stated before is that I think that one of the investigations, Clinton's emails/servers was ended on a false premise, and Trump's collusion w Russia was started on a false premise and that that is where the corruption in both cases lies. Why Her's was ended the way it was and why Trump's was started the way it was? I think the finger points in one and the same direction. If we were ever to right this ship, I think that needs to be exposed for all to see.
