It would be quaint how the undeveloped little boys of the world move their warships and artillery around like playground bullies if human lives weren't involved.  The idea of war and geoposturing is infantile at best.

Russia has warned the US its build-up of weapons in Europe risks a repeat of the Cuban missile crisis - as a Moscow warship docked near Havana yesterday.

Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov said on Monday that US plans to deploy missile systems near the Russian border risks a nuclear standoff on a par with the height of the Cold War.

Mr Ryabkov said yesterday: "If things get as far as an actual deployment on the ground of these sorts of systems, then the situation won't just get more complicated, it will escalate right to the limit."

Thanks Herself and Mule-Ler, happy now?

That's the Admiral Gorshkov. I believe we actually sold the Russians that boat. It carries 49 Kalibr nuke missiles (2800 mile range). And, an unspecified number of Zircon hypersonic antiship missiles (250 mile range). It's nicknamed the Nation Killer. It's purpose is to launch all payload and then be destroyed in the first minutes of WW3.

As you said deepestblue. Thanks Herself. Thanks Mule face.
But, really. Thanks Hillary financiers.

I'm more convinced every day the people behind this march to WW3 must have some way of living in space. Maybe the "missing" trillion$ really did go to a secret space program. Perhaps the movie Above Majestic is not so crazy...

Pipeline and Railroad across the Berring Strait: Bye bye middle east quagmires. Bye bye 23ft/gal super tankers polluting the world. Add a highway to that. Then we can drive to Asia, Europe and Africa. Road trip heaven!

Throw Comey, Brennan, Adam Schiff, the Paramours, Bruce Or, Nellie etc etc etc in too.
And while you are at it, might as well add Pompano, Bolt On, Bloody Gina, as I don’t see any of them improving this situation either.

As Russia docks this major warship in Cuba, the loony left still insists Trump colluded with Russia.

This one is curious, perhaps President Carter was given a "talk."

Quote:

Jimmy Carter Suggests Trump is an Illegitimate President: ‘He Didn’t Actually Win the Election’

“I think the interference, though not yet quantified, should be fully investigated and would show that Trump didn’t actually win the election in 2016, he lost the election,” Carter said.

“He was put into office because the Russians interfered,” he said. Carter was then asked if that meant he believed Trump was illegitimate.

“Based on what I said, which I can’t retract,” Carter responded, prompting laughter from the audience.

Carter has spoken with Trump in the past and attended Trump’s inauguration. Earlier this year, Carter says he offered Trump advice on dealing with China after Trump called him to talk about the country.

He also might be, actually is getting quite old, and perhaps is more easy influenced as often older people are.

In his case especially. I’d be willing to give him a break and not read too much into it.

They are ruthlessely closing in on all angles from censorship to making sure anyone who was fair minded will retract their earlier position.

From 2 years ago:

Quote:
Jimmy Carter: Russians didn’t steal election from Hillary Clinton

“I don’t think there’s any evidence that what the Russians did changed enough votes, or any votes," Carter told The New York Times.
